What we’ve accomplished
support through the COVID-19 crisis
Generous donations allowed us to show Shirely continuous support through the crisis and also enabled her to provide new school uniforms for the kids.
Electricity and water
In April 2016 Shirley was able to purchase a generator after the old one broke down. A reliable electricity and water supply is crucial – especially for running the bakery.
School bus
Generous donations enabled the purchase of a school bus which now takes the kids to school and back safely every day.
School uniforms
In January 2015 Shirley was able to purchase new school uniforms for all children. It’s very important to her that all children look tidy and are not immediately recognized as orphaned children in public.
